
| For Life Uganda Projects 2010 Self Sustainable Village Project In four years For Life has grown along with its projects with a passion and desire to help build a better world. The Karamoja region of northeastern Uganda is a dry barren land where we hope to do so much more. Schools and water irrigation projects have demonstrated the importance of both small and large operations. For Life now wants to realise a dream with the creation of a self sustaining village , giving a better life to the families of Kotido Irrigation Project Karamoja –Uganda Working together with Father Piero of the Comboni missionaries, the For Life irrigation project will sponsor the planting of 10,000 fruit trees in Kanawat Uganda. Through the For Life scheme, community groups and local farmers will have access to financial resources to execute community projects for irrigation and water development activities. Arts & Crafts Project Working together with the Comboni sisters of Matany, For Life is sponsoring the For life Art & Craft initiative. The project has already generated over €4.000.00. Ugandan women’s co-operatives are given the opportunity to export their creativity, helping generate income for their families and developing their communities. Kotido Project For Life projects in Kotido North Uganda ( Karamoja ) Kotido Combonian Fathers Village Project. The For Life Onlus funded school construction project is completed and is now home to its first group of students, the medical centre project is underway. |
